Eating Disorders

Choosing to seek out treatment for your eating disorder is a huge and scary step. The process of recovering is not an easy one, but with the right amount of support and the motivation to get better, it’s entirely possible. I practice through a Health-at-Every-Size lens, which means I honor natural body diversity, and believe that people in all body shapes and sizes deserve to live happy, healthy lives free of weight stigma or excessive concern about their body size.

Due to the complex nature of eating disorders, many of the individuals I work with benefit from a treatment team approach, which typically includes a therapist and dietitian, and often a primary care doctor and/or psychiatrist as well. If you aren’t sure if you need a treatment team or how to set one up, that is something I can help with in your initial appointment.

A bigger life is out there than the one your eating disorder is keeping you stuck in. Take the first step and reach out today.
