Some of the issues that I commonly work with include:

self-WORTH and shame

Many women struggle with shame and can’t seem to shake the feeling of not being good enough. You question yourself constantly, and sometimes even wonder if you are somehow inherently flawed or broken. This shame impacts your feelings of esteem, worth, and bleeds over into other areas of your life. Maybe you’ve been through some difficult experiences throughout your life that contributed to these problems, or maybe you aren’t really sure why you feel this way. Together, we will explore where these feelings are stemming from, and help you shift to a place where you feel able to take full ownership of your life and embrace the person you are.

Stress and Anxiety

Worry, fear, constant “what-ifs” and worst case scenarios running through your mind. Knots in your stomach, racing heart, shallow breathing. It all sucks. Anxiety can take many forms, and it’s something that all of us deal with from time-to-time. But if it’s interfering with your ability to feel at peace, engage in the activities you love, or go after your goals, support can be a huge help. I will work collaboratively with you to help you gain a better understanding of the past experiences and core beliefs that fuel your anxiety, and will provide you with practical tools and strategies to help reduce the impact of that anxiety on your daily life.

Eating disorderS & Body image

Constant guilt, shame, and obsessive thoughts about food and your body have a way of interfering with EVERYTHING that really matters in your life. Whether you are dealing with an eating disorder, chronic dieting, or just poor body image— it’s all miserable. The good news is, recovery is possible. With good support and a willingness to do the work, you can get to a place where you finally feel free of the obsession and able to enjoy your life again. Eating disorders are complex and often require a treatment team approach. Click below to learn more about my approach to working with food and body image issues.
